GLOSSARY

1.) Autism- a state of mind characterized by daydreaming , hallucinations, and disregard of external reality.

2.) Blindness- without the power of sight; unable to see; sightless.

3.) Braille- a system of printing and writing for the blind in which characters are formed by patterns of raised dots which are felt with the fingers.

4.) Deafness- totally or partially unable to hear.

5.) Disabilities- that which disables, as an illness, injury, or physical handicap.

6.) Sign Language- communication of thoughts or ideas by means of manual signs and gestures
