Olympic-Sized Tales!

The myths from Ancient Greece are all that remains of the Ancient Greek religion. More than three thousand years ago, these ancient people created myths to explain things they couldn’t. The Greeks didn’t have science to prove or explain the world around them. Questions such as, Why is the sky blue?, or How did man come to live on Earth? They had no way to know the answers to these questions. Mythology was their "logic to life". The Greek culture had to believe in something, and the Godspanpipe1.gif (31540 bytes) of Olympus were what they chose.

The pages of our website will show you many examples of this "logic". The myths will explain how man came to Earth, why there are different skin colors, and why there is winter, to name a few. So come on in, click around, and see the world around YOU from ancient Greek’s perspective!
