We are currently using miles and miles of wires to connect computers around the world.  But, in time wireless will become the standard.  

 

 

The iBook by Macintosh is already wireless...

Can you imagine carrying a computer (not just the iBook, but all computers) around and being able to stop anywhere and email your best friend or your Mom?
