The trail went on, but we had to stop. Had we found our rare and endangered species? No.
We'd gone to the park, the zoo, the museum, and the forest. We'd found 'ohi'a trees, but there were always a lot of other alien plants and trees around them. The only animals we found were the nene geese at the zoo.
All the other Hawaiian animals that Pono met on his journey, we only found preserved in the museum or in pictures.
