Pu'u'ohi'a Trail
We went high up into the forest to see if we could find our native plants and animals.
We saw some native plants, and we saw lots of vines.
We heard birds singing, and we saw a bird that looked like a quail. It wasn't native.
We saw some wild orchid flowers. They were pretty, but they weren't native. We stopped to eat our lunch. We were hungry!
We hiked and looked, and hiked some more. It was a long walk, but it was fun. We only saw some native plants, no animals.
