About Us

Have you ever thought about what Pluto looked like? Well, its surface is mostly made up of ice. The temperature is usually between negative three hundred seventy to negative three hundred ninety (-370 to -390). The whole planet is mostly made of ice and snow debris. The atmosphere is very thin. It's mostly made of nitrogen gas. Other gases include: Carbon monoxide and methane. Carbon monoxide is the gas that comes out of your car. Scientist think that Pluto is made of frozen nitrogen ice. There may be storms and clouds on Pluto but since it's so far away, it's difficult to see.

Pluto, the planet , was named after a Roman king of the under world. He was shot by cupid and fell in love with Persephone and married her.

The planet has a rotation just like any other planet. It's orbit is more oval than round. It takes six earth days to complete a full rotation. During its orbit, it crosses Neptune's path. Pluto only has one moon. The name of its moon is Charon. Charon is 12,200 miles away from Pluto. It is about the same size as Pluto. There are many unknown facts about Charon. It is assumed that Pluto and Charon are made of the same thing.
