Bill Gates

Gates was born in Seattle on October 28, 1955. He and his two sisters grew up with their mother and father. Gates attended both public and private schools, at the age of 13 he started programming computers and developing software.

Gates attended Harvard in his freshman year while he invented the language BASIC for MITS Altair, the first microcomputer. He dropped out in his junior to help develop his company Microsoft he started in 1975. He believed that the personal computer would be a valuable tool on every desktop. The mission of Microsoft was to advance the software technology. The company reflected in its investment on research and development of more than $3 billion in the current fiscal year.

Business @ the Speed of Thought was a book that showed how digital processes can solve business problems fundamentally, that was wrote in 1999 by Bill Gates. The book is available in more than 60 countries and in 25 languages. Business @ the Speed of Thought was listed on the bestsellers list of the New York Times, USA Today, The Wall Street Journal, and Amazon. com.

Walt Disney

Walter Elias Disney was born on December 15, 1966 in Chicago, Illinois. He created millions of cartoons characters and achieved 26 Academy Awards. He founded the entertainment empire which includes amusement parks and his film studios. The characters he creates sets a good image for youngsters. his characters have reproduction rights for their clothing, books, and various other things.

Disney grew up in Marceline and Kansas City, Montana. There he got aquainted to Ub Iwerks who later became a Disney collaborator. Their Kansas City animation studio failed in 1923, after that Disney founded a new film studio in Hollywood.

In 1928 Iwerks and Disney perfected the eternal Mickey Mouse and made history in their first cartoon with sound "Steamboat Willie". After his first cartoon was a success he made numerous cartoons including Silly Symphonies. From then on he created all his cartoons in sound and color along with his patch of animals Pluto, Goofy, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Chip and Dale, and Clara Cow.

Disney's first film was "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs". It proved a stunning appearance and followed by it was the fantastic "Fantasia". After that he created several other films including "Pinocchio", "Dumbo", "Bambi", and "The Reluctant Dragon".

Disney turned other films into lighthearted and sentimentally musical fantasies. He then created his own television series "The Mickey Mouse Club". He revived other cartoons for the next generation of kids.
