Once upon a time there was a lion cub named Salt. Salt met a tiger cub named Pepper. They became best friends, and they went everywhere together. One day Salt & Pepper decided to take a little adventure down by the water hole. Salt went into his house & wrote a note to his mommy this is what it said:

                                    Deer Mommey,
 Me & Pepper are going on a adventcher be bac soon.
                            Luv,
                                Salt.
 
 

   Salt didn't know how to spell, so some of his words were wrong. He went to go get some food for their trip to the water hole. Salt & Pepper were thinking the same thing, that this will be fun! When they got down to the water hole they chased lizards, butterflies, & messed with the fish. they had tons of fun,  they forgot all about home. Soon it got dark. Salt & Pepper tried to get home but they forgot where to go. Pepper thought he could get home in the dark so he said
"follow me". An hour later they were in the same place, they went in circles. Soon they found a cave to sleep in for the night. In the morning Salt took some food out of the backpack and they both shared some of the food. They both looked in the backpack but they couldn't  see any more of the food. The backpack was empty! All that was left in there was, two pencil's, a pad of paper, and a eraser. But they couldn't find their special pen. They went back into the cave and looked for it. An hour later Pepper screamed cause he found the special pen! Beside it was a map.
"Oooooo, Ahhhhh"! They both said surprised. Salt put the map inside his backpack with the pen. "Come on Pepper, lets go look for treasure!" They ran into the cave, and started to look at the map.
"Salt, if we find treasure we will be rich!" Pepper yelled. They both were very excited, because they were going to have something very special. Pepper said,
    "how are we going to dig if we have no stuff for it?"
Then Salt said, " Hello! We have paws! Duuh!" They looked at the map but they didn't notice it  was upside down, they started fighting which way to go," No! See you have to go find a silver potato!" Said Pepper. All of a sudden a vicious looking baby leopard popped out from behind a tree. "Roar!" the leopard said in a tiny voice. " Did I scare you? Did I? Oh I mean, Roar! Im a ferocious leotard! I mean leopard!" Salt and Pepper looked at the leopard in a weird way. "  Hi I'm Salt, and this is Pepper."   " Oh hi." The leopard said in a friendly way.
 " Well what's your name?" Said Pepper. " My name is, Spike!"
    " Spike? Cool name! So Spike want to help us find treasure?" Said Salt. Spike said yes. On there way to find the treasure Salt & Pepper started fighting again of were to go. "No, I know where to go. So quit fighting!" Shouted Spike. " Ok we have to go find a big silver rock that looks like a big turtle shell, its not not far from here I've been there before. And its not a potato. Then you dig under that rock, but  don't dig to deep." Spike explained. Two hours later they came upon the big silver rock. "You said that it wasn't that far away!" Pepper said in an exhausted voice. "I... I... I thought that it would be really close!" Spike replied. "Well now were lost thanks to you" Salt yelled. Salt was very angry. "Salt there is no reason to be angry, if Spike thought that it was very close than that is what he thought, so don't be angry at him." Pepper whispered to Salt. "Listen, Spike I'm sorry for getting so angry at you. Salt replied. "It's okay." Spike said. " Salt!" "Pepper!" "Spike!". All of their mothers yelled. "Mom!" "Mom!" "Mom!". Salt, Pepper, and Spike yelled. "Oh, I missed you so much!". All of the mothers and children said at the very same time. They all lived happily ever after.
