Bold Bottom Feeder

This fish adds excitement to a tank! With its orange and black coloring, it stands out above all other "brown" bottom feeders. This is also one of the most colorful loaches. This is another scaleless fish.

Tank setup

Clown Loaches are schooling fish and should be kept in schools of five to six. They normally swim peacefully around the tank. This fish can be shy so dim lights will benefit it. They need hiding places and prefer a "soft" or sandy bottom.

Feeding

These fish aren't as picky as other fish and will accept most common fish foods. Sinking food will help them get enough to eat.

Tank Mates

Idea tank mates would be about any other fish. They have downward shaped mouths, and there mouths are "tube-like" this make it almost impossible for them to eat any other fish.
