What is your favorite song? My personal favorite is "Dem' Bones'". That reminds me, I need to go see my chiropractor. You might be wondering, what a chiropractor is. Lets find out and you might want to be one yourself. I guess another word for a chiropractor is just, well, a bone doctor. They work with the alignment of the human skeleton. Lets say you had back pain, a common problem in our society, you might go to a chiropractor for treatment. Or, you might be recovering from a serious injury were you damaged a bone you would also go to a chiropractor. So, we already know why you would go to a chiropractor, but what would you have done once you were there. they would try to fix these problems with surgery or medicine. They also have a guideline to work by, your spine(vertebrae). Most of theses problems are caused by bones and muscles tat are out of place causing discomfort and health problems. They might not even need surgery or drugs, they might ask you to change your diet, or even give you physical therapy. Now, you might not want to be a chiropractor if you did not have the requirements, in fact your employer wouldn't want that either. but, you can do it if you fit the following requirements. you must have two years of college with courses in organic and inorganic chemistry, biology, and physics. You must also have grounding in social science and in different types of humanities. Now that you know what a chiropractor is you can go and do it |
