"Men their rights and nothing more;
women their rights and nothing less."
Susan B. Anthony
From the beginning of time men have been the superior race, taking control of the world around them. For thousands of years women have been considered weak and ignorant. Now some determined women are taking their rights back and are coming out from the corner were they had been hiding. In the 1700's Abigail Adams protested, in the 1800's Susan B. Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton fought for the right to vote and today Gloria Steinem is continuing the fight for equal rights for women. Women will no longer be pushed aside. They are demanding equal rights and emerging from the shadows. Many women have dedicated their lives to the fight for women's rights.
I'm going to enlighten you about the difficulties women have had in their fight for equality. You will learn about the many accomplishments women have made and how far they still have to go to reach equality in life.
