Marian Templeton Place

Marian Templeton Place was born in 1910. She was an author and former school librarian. She has written more than forty books for schildren. She specializes in fiction and non-fiction books about the American West, flying saucers, Bigfoot, astronauts, and witches. Some articles and books were written under the names of Dale White and R.D. Whitinger. The collection includes manuscripts, notes, rough drafts, revisions, final drafts, galley proofs, page proofs, contracts, correspondence, appointment and work books, scrapbooks, pamphlets, and cataloged monographs.
