A Terrier is usually a small dog. It is used for hunting in some cases. Terriers hunt by digging to find things. Now-a-days people use Bloodhounds for hunting and Terriers for house pets. Some types of Terriers are: Boston Bull, Fox Irish, Manchester Schnauzer, and the Silky Toy Terrier that is in the picture above. The Silky Toy Terrier needs lots of exercising and grooming but doesn't need a lot of food.
