We read a few books about magic. Here are some of the ones that we especially liked. All of these will either teach you tricks or teach you about a famous magician. All of these books are on our reference page, too. Read them and learn even more about magic.
 
 
 

   1. Harry Houdini: Master of Magic, by -Robert Kraske This is a biography about one of the most famous magicians ever, Harry Houdini. It's a great book if you want to learn a lot about Houdini. It talks about his life from beginning to end.

  2. Magic Fun, by Nick Huckleberry Beak- This is a book about simple magic tricks that you can do just by finding a few things in your house. Try some of them and see how easy they are.

3. The Magic Show, by Bob Friedhoffer- This book has many fun tricks to play on your friends.  If you are better at learning things with pictures, this book would be a wonderful choice.

4. All the Secrets of Magic Revealed: The Tricks and Illusions of the World's Greatest Magicians, by Herbert L. Becker- This book reveals many of the mysterious tricks that the greatest magicians perform. It was interesting to know how the magicians try and trick our minds.

5. 200 Magic Tricks Anyone Can Do, by Harry Blackstone- The title of this book pretty much tells the story: anyone can do them. These tricks will confuse your audience for months and maybe even years! Read this and try some.

6. Be a Magician, by Ali Bongo- This book will teach you to do fun and interesting tricks to perform. Once you master these tricks you will be a professional!

7. The Big Book of Tricks and Magic, by James R. Blackman- This trick book will teach you lots of good tricks to perform to audiences of all ages. It is also easy to understand and follow.
