MC Squared, Your Site Guide! Hello, I am MC2, and I will be your site guide for today! This site is brought to you by Team 18, a group composed of four 6th grade students from CT English Middle School. They are all very into computers and science fiction, so they have gotten together to make this web page for you. Here you can learn about the science in science fiction. That is, they will teach you about the inner workings of science fiction's technology, from warp drives to lightsabers to zero-space. They will teach you whether scientists today might be able to someday make this technology, or why not. They will also explore the possible futures that each saga presents, from Isaac Asimov's Foundation series, where humans are the only species in the galaxy and Earth has become radioactive, to Star Wars, where many aliens populate the stars and the Force rules over all. Although in small matters Star Wars takes precedence (like pictures, quotes, and examples) because it is the most well-known series, we try to deal with each of our four SciFi series equally when it comes to matters concerning the actual content.

If you want to listen to music while you browse, just click on one of the songs. They were taken from the CD that came with Tricks of the Windows Game Programming Gurus by Andre Lamothe and the Star Wars Monopoly CD-ROM. We made up the names for them.
