West Virginia

          The capital of West Virginia is Charleston. The state tree is the Sugar maple and the state bird is the Cardinal. The state flower is the Rhododendron. West Virginia is located in the Appalachian Mountains. The capital of West Virginia is located in a valley.  Animals in West Virginia are many fish and birds, there are also bears, fox, mice, beaver, white tail deer, and Albino Deer.  Some attractions in West Virginia are Bridge Jumping, Fishing, and Hiking.

           West Virginia is known as the "Mountain State" because of the vast mountain ranges. It is located right in the middle of the Appalachian Mountains.  There are many ski slopes for those extreme sports. There are such places as Winterplace, Canaan Valley, Timberline, and Snowshoe.
