Pennsylvania

        The capital of Pennsylvania is Harrisburg. The state bird is the Ruffed grouse and their state tree is the hemlock. The state flower is the mountain laurel. The nickname is the "Keystone State." The total population 11,881,643 in 1990.  It was the second state admitted to the union. Benjamin Franklin was the most famous person there in the 1770s.
