The University of Iowa in Iowa City has one of the largest bagpipe bands in the world. The world's largest coffee pot is located in Stanton, Iowa. (It is a painted water tower.) A hobo convention is held in Britt, Iowa. A King and Queen of the hoboes are chosen every year.
