Florida Fish and Wildlife CommissionFlorida Game and Fresh Water Fish Commission (FGFWFC) is an organization that protects and deals with game and fresh water fish in Florida. They make bills and laws for game animals that show when they can be hunted and when they are protected. They also have fishing laws and how you can’t fish in some places. They also have programs such as diving, fishing events, and contests. In the past they have done a lot for the Everglades. Right now they are working on saving the endangered species like the Seaside Sparrow and the Snail Kite. This is a dilemma because if they save the sparrow the homeowners houses would get flooded and if they save the kite the sparrow would become extinct. They are still working on this project. You can visit their site at http://www.state.fl.us/fwc/.
Picture of alligator in Shark Valley. The water level is very high so the alligator has to sit on a broken dock.
