Irish Moss

Irish Moss is the name of several different seaweeds that grow in rocky places of Great Britain, Ireland, and the eastern cost of North America. The most common Irish Moss is reddish-brown or purple and it has forked shaped fronds (leaves). Some specially prepared Irish Moss is used in soups and in desserts.
