Shiloh

The Confederate troops were marching at a steady pace toward Pennsylvania. They had on muddy boots and gray uniforms. Some soldiers had muskets, Colt Navy Revolvers and Star Army Revolvers. But little did they did they know they were walking into a Union trap. Then suddenly a shot rang out. Confederate soldiers dove for safety. Soldiers landed behind bushes, others landed in creeks, and ditches. One Confederate soldier was laying in the middle of the dirt road. Confederates got ready to shoot but they didn't see anyone. They had no clue a sniper was stationed in one of the trees near the road.
Robert E. Lee was the commander of the Confederate Troop.
" Move out ," bellowed General Lee. The Confederate soldiers slowly came out of there hiding places. Corporal Johnson the sniper carefully restationed himself on the ground. Then snuck back to the Union Commander Alexander.
" The Confederates are coming. There's about 3,500 of them," said Corporal Johnson.
General Alexander yelled. " Move in troops." Joe and Mike were beside him at the time.
The Confederates started marching down the road again. Then suddenly they stopped. More shots rang out. The Union troops had ambushed them. General Alexander told his troops to retreat after hours of fighting. Ulysses S. Grant our captain told us to stay and fight.
We were running to camp when General Alexander got shot in the leg. Joe and Mike helped him to a nearby cave. Joe and Mike splinted General Alexander's leg. They hid General Alexander in a dark corner. Corporal Johnson found the blood trail. He followed it until he came to a cave.
Corporal Johnson came running into the cave. He startled Joe and Mike. Corporal Johnson checked out General Alexander. Then he hid in the top of the cave on a ledge. By that time the Confederates came running in. Joe and Mike were on the run the second the Confederates ran in. They ran right past General Alexander.
On the way back Joe and Mike told Corporal Johnson the Confederates were here. He reloaded and got ready to shoot. They were here by now.
Corporal Johnson yells, "Run." Mike falls down. Joe turns around and shoots the front soldier as Mike gets up. The Confederates were gaining on them. Mike turns around and shot a Confederate Soldier. Joe and mike started running until they came to an exit of the cave they were in Shiloh.

We battled into the dark night. Finally Captain Grant tells us to retreat. Joe and Mike woke up in the middle of the night . We heard leaves rustling and twigs breaking .
" Help Me !!" yelled General Alexander.
"Mike get up and bring your gun! " said Joe.
" I'm up already and what is going on out there?" said Mike. Then Mike heard a faint scream .
Mike scrambled out of the tent . He shot one of the soldiers. The battle went for hours They had forced us to run. They were too powerful . The Union troops stopped when they got to the forest.
Some of the Union soldiers scrambled back to get some ammunition. Some died trying to. General Alexander got captured during all this. The Confederates took him to Texas . He only got water and bread to eat and drink.

You try to go back for General Alexander, but Grant tells you not to risk it. So you just go back and get into your tent. Slowly in the camp the sound dies off. Joe has a funny feeling and runs off.
General Alexander was being taken to a camp in Texas. They planned to get information out of him about the Union so they could win the war.
"I'll never tell you anything," Alexander told General Lee. Back toward Shiloh Mike and Johnson were looking for the camp. Suddenly some shots came past Mike. They pulled out their guns ready for a little with a few rebel soldiers.
General Lee was growing very impatient with General Alexander.
"Tell me or be hung!" Lee shouted.
"No!" Alexander yelled back. "Hang him,"commanded Lee. Confederate officers grappled with Alexander. Suddenly he threw a punch, and a kick. BOOM! Five Confederate soldiers lay on the ground. Alexander was also on the ground. This time 10 Confederate soldiers grabbed him and took him away.
Johnson and Mike were running through the forest trying to escape the Confederate soldiers. Suddenly something hit them in the leg.
Alexander woke up standing with a rope around his neck. He saw Mike and Johnson sitting with officers behind them. Suddenly they heard a scream. General John Alexander is dead.
Captain Ulysses S. Grant tells you not to risk it. But you disobey him. That night you sneak out of camp. You get some people to go with you. They are Corporal Johnson, Joe, and Mike. You and your companions walk through the night. When you and your companions get to the cave you can't find General Alexander anywhere. Soon you realize that he had been kidnapped.
Later the next day you and your companions get the message saying that General Alexander had been taken to a Confederate camp in Texas. You, Joe, Mike, and Corporal Johnson leave to go get General Alexander. You walk through the night. You rest in the morning. You get fish from the stream and eat it raw. Then you move on. It takes you two more nights to get to Texas. You and your friends camp out five miles away from the Confederate camp where General Alexander was being held.
You think of a plan to get General Alexander out of the camp. You come up with the plan to shoot the rope when they get ready to hang him. You watch out till one of the officers in the camp take out General Alexander out of his cell.
Mike yells, " There hanging him." Corporal Johnson gets ready to shoot the rope right before the pull the board out from under him. 5 minutes later they got ready to ready to hang him . They were pulling the board out when Corporal Johnson Shot the rope. General Alexander fell to the ground. Corporal Johnson Shot the two guards.
General Alexander Gets up and starts to run because he doesn't know what's happening. Then Joe and Mike went running in grabbed General Alexander and came running back out again. Then you and your friends go back to.
You sneak out of the camp in the middle of the night. Joe, Mike, and Corporal Johnson realize you were gone. They start coming after you. They catch up with you about halfway to the camp. They ask you why you left.
You answer with " If we don't get him out we will all die!"
"Well how did you plan to get him out by yourself ?" asked Corporal Johnson " I don't know," you answer. It takes you three more days to get to the camp in Texas.
Corporal Johnson takes out his sniper rifle and climbs up the nearest tree and surveys the camp with the scope on his sniper rifle. He saw about 6 Confederate soldiers. He also saw where they were holding General Alexander. You and the people with you make a plan to get General Alexander out of the prison. It is to have Joe and Mike get captured and then you and Corporal Johnson go running in and kill the 2 guards taking them to there cell. They drag the two dead guards outside of the camp.
We wait till the right moment. The two soldiers were standing near the gate.
" Mike Go," whispers Corporal Johnson. Mike takes of running and screaming. The guards looked at her in amazement. " Help me," says Mike. The guards look at her uniform. They realize that it is a Union uniform. They took her in to custody. Corporal Johnson and Joe came running in through the open gate. Corporal Johnson and Joe shoot the two guards.
Corporal Johnson gets the keys to the cell of one of the Confederate soldiers. Corporal Johnson tells Joe and Mike to go ahead. Corporal Johnson opens the door. Then all of the sudden two shots rang out. Corporal Johnson and General Alexander are dead.
Johnson, Mike, and Joe were headed for Texas. Since it had rained just rained a couple of days ago there were still footprints to follow. General Lee had come with a surprise attack. It had worked perfectly. He had even captured General John Alexander. Confederate soldiers had expected Alexander's three soldiers to come and help General Alexander. Three perfect shots rang out. One hit Joe in the shoulder. Another hit Johnson in the leg. Mike also hit in the leg.
Back in Texas General Alexander heard about his three officers. He knew that they had to get away from Texas. Suddenly three bodies were thrown into his room. He knew that they were his officers.
" We have got to get out of here before they kill us," Alexander told his men. They planned to try to get out that night to Pennsylvania.
The night finally came. Alexander and Johnson were going to escape first. The time came. They took off running. A soldier jumped behind the and shot them both in the back. They died the next morning.
1 year later Joe and Mike escaped from the camp. They were barely able to get back to Pennsylvania.
