MATERIALS NEEDED
1 quart zip-lock bag
11/2 cup water
11/2 cup vinegar
1 tablespoon baking soda
WARNING: This is a messy experiment. Please do it outdoors.
PROCEDURE
1. Fill the bag with a mixture of water and vinegar.
2. Seal the bag part way and leave about 1 inch opening.
3. Get 1 tablespoon of baking soda ready.
GET READY TO RUN.... you only have 10 seconds before the explosion!
4. Pour the baking soda into the bag and zip it up quickly.
5. Put it on the ground and RUN.
RESULT
The liquid in the bag will explode.
WHY?
The liquid mixture and the baking soda create a reaction and it
explodes.
