Tsunami

A tsunami is a huge wave that reaches heights at tines of 10 feet! They are only located on the shores of some places. They are created by earthquakes. What happens is the earth is divided into plates. Sometimes 2 plates hit each other causing an earthquake. It must happen in the ocean. When 2 plates hit each other it sends seismic waves through the earth. This causes an earthquake. If it's in the ocean it forms a tsunami.
