1 large bowl
1 spoon
1 sheet of newspaper
1 1/4 cup cornstarch
1 cup of water
PROCEDURE
1. Put the cornstarch and water in the bowl.
2. Mix with the spoon until they are thoroughly mixed and look
like paste.
RESULT
You have created a substance that seems hard. When you hit it
hard with you fist the surface seems to stop your hand from going
through the mixture. But when you push your fingers in slowly,
they slide into the bottom of the bowl.
WHY?
The molecules of the goop are larger and hook together unlike
the molecules of water.
