If you don't know what a power plant is come to us, "The Electric Men". We are going to tell you a lot about power plants.

Electricity comes from a place called a power plant. Power plants can't make electricity without coal. Boats come from rivers and canals to bring coal to the power plants. In a power plant, steam pushes against a big wheel called a turbine. The steam pushes the turbine around and around. Hundreds of years ago, people used fast rivers to turn their mills to grind wheat. Nowadays, people use coal to turn mills.

I hope you know a little more about power plants now. Look for other things about electricity in the electricity section.
