Who We Are
I'm Sam and I'm a sixth-grader in Mantua Elementary School in Fairfax, Virginia. I have participated in two ThinkQuest contests before. I enjoy learning math, history, science, and computer programming. I like playing the piano, reading, and playing soccer. I am in the same Boy Scout troop as Nick. My favorite parts of making this web site were interviewing the real archaeologists--they are really nice people--and figuring out how to do the code for the Go Dig! game correctly. Hi. I'm Nick and I'm homeschooled. I am in 6th grade and I like all my subjects, especially computer class. Though I am homeschooled, I still have social events such as Boy Scouts. I used to play soccer, but I quit because I wanted to make Boy Scouts a priority. I hold the rank of 2nd Class and I volunteered for the job of Scribe. I currently hold that position. In addition to computers, I also like reading, engineering and camping out, and playing piano and percussion instruments. Hi, I'm Andy and I am a homeschooled 4th grader. My favorite subjects are math and science. Some of my favorite hobbies are playing soccer, baseball, basketball, and chess. I enjoyed learning how to program, upload and download stuff to and from the website, and playing with graphics. My favorite part of working on this project was traveling to four of the New World sites (Tulum, Coba, Alexandria, and Jamestown). Learning HTML from Sam and Nick was fun, too. On this website, I am responsible for the What is Archaeology pages, How They Do It, Early and Current History, all the New World famous sites and the China sites. |
