The Dig
| Greece The
ancient Greeks left behind great works of art and structures, as well
as artifacts from their government, literature, and religion. We have
a learned a lot from the remains of their agoras (marketplaces). Almost
anywhere you go in Greece you will encounter ancient ruins. The two digs
I chose were Troy, which was found by Schliemann,
and the Minoan civilization (Palace of Knossos), found by Arthur
Evans. | ||||
