Mysteries
Kennewick Man
Kennewick Man is a skeleton found in the Columbia River in 1996. Some college students in 1996 were wading in the Columbia River, and they stumbled upon bones. The bones were thought to be 100 years old; they were actually over 9000 years old. They are the oldest bones in the Northwest and among the oldest in the Americas. The reconstruction of Kennewick Man looked like Patrick Stewart; Nick calls him Patrick Stewart Man. The reconstruction made him look Japanese, but that might have been a mistake.
Who was he and where did he come from?
1. He was Japanese and came directly across the Atlantic Ocean.
2. He walked from Europe to Asia across the Bering Strait.
3. He was a Native American and the reconstruction was a mistake.
