Climate Zones

Georgia has four climate zones, The Appalachian Mountains Region (Northwest), The Piedmont Region (North to Central), The Outer Coastal Plains Region (Central to South Central), and The Inner Coastal Plains Region (Southeast). The four climate zones are very different climates indeed. The Appalachian Mountains Region which includes most of Northern Georgia, has cool winters and warm summers. The Piedmont Region has cool winters and warm summers also. The I. Coastal Plains Region has mild winters and hot summers. The O. Coastal Plains has warm summers and mild winters too.

Georgia Climate

Most of Georgia's Climate has a dry winters and warm summers, but in the tip of Northern Georgia, they have moderately cold winters and humid, warm summers.
