Our Mission

  With the advent of the new millennium, and the release of new coins, people are beginning to show interest in numismatics, the study of money.  Our web site gives people a chance to look up the different currency that countries use.  You can also find information about currency of long ago, or even find out about current coins today.  Our site also has coin trivia for both kids and adults.  Be sure to check out our quiz on interesting currency facts.

    By making this site, we hope that we can educate people of all ages about coins from the past, and coins of today.  We also want to teach people about the monetary systems in other countries.  This site also provides a fun way of learning through our Did You Know Page, that has interesting facts and trivia on U.S. currency. 

In addition to all of those fun facts and trivia, we also have a page where you can design your own coin.  We will pick winners every month, and display their coin on the site.
