| Interesting Facts: | He was a good hunter. His rifle was named "Betsy." He was one of only 187 men that fought against the Mexicans at the Alamo. All of the men died, even Davy. The important thing was that many more Mexicans were killed in that battle, too. On his tombstone, it lists all the kinds of works he did in his life. He was a pioneer, patriot, soldier, trapper, explorer, state legislator, and congressman. |
