stone is? I never did until I moved to Guam. A latte stone
is a big stone shaped like this picture.
A latte stone has become
the unofficial logo of Guam. There are latte stones all over the
island and they show people where houses once stood. Latte
stones used to hold up the houses.
Nowadays, the latte stone
has been replaced with concrete foundations, but if you drive around this
beautiful island, you can see latte stones. You can also find a latte
stone on many souvenirs.
Perhaps one day you'll
take your picture with a latte stone when you visit Guam. |
