| River Floods: Natural causes that cause this to happen are rain, snow |
| melt, and ice jams. |
| Cloudburst Floods: They are caused by extremely dense rainful, |
| 10 inches or more an hour. They are short-lived, rarely continuing for |
| more than a few hours, at one location. |
