atom : the smallest part of any living or nonliving thing.

boiling : the point at which heat makes liquid bubble and turn into
gas.

bond : when two or more elements join together to form a compound.

compound :  a substance made up of  two or more elements bonded
together to make something new.

conclusion : in science, a decision based on observation.

dissolve : mixing a liquid with something else to form a solution.

electron microscope : a powerful  instrument  to look at atoms.

element : atoms or tiny parts that make up all the different kinds of
matter in the world.

freezing : the point at which cold turns liquid into solid.

gas : the form of matter without shape or volume.

liquid : the form of matter in which the molecules flow.

matter :  all living or nonliving  things that take up space.

mixture : a combination of  parts that can be easily separated.

melting : the point at which heat changes a solid to a liquid.

molecule : tiny particles formed by two or more different kinds of atoms joined together

observation : looking at things to find how they look.

particle : something very tiny  atoms are sometimes called particles.

periodic table : the chart or list of all the elements.

solid : the form of matter that has its  own shape.

solution : a mixture made with water or some other liquid.

three states of matter : solid, liquid or gas.

volume : the space matter takes up.
