Moving Drops

What you need:

 1. wax paper
 2. toothpick
 3. water
 4. eye dropper

What you do:

1. Put the wax paper on a flat surface.
2. Use the eye dropper to put 3 or 4 drops  of water on the  wax paper.
3. Wet the toothpick.
4. Put the end of the toothpick near (but not touching) one of the drops.
5. Watch what happens!

Water molecules attract other molecules.  That makes the water go to the wet toothpick.  That is why you must wet the toothpick when doing this experiment.
