Oil and Water


What you need:

1. clear bottle(20 oz.)
2. cooking oil
3. water

What you do:

1. Pour the water into the bottle.
2. Pour oil into the water.
3. Shake the bottle and watch what happens!

This experiment shows that oil and water DON'T mix.  The oil forms bubbles to stay on top of the water.  Try this:  Let it sit out for about an hour. Do you see that the oil and water have separated?
