The Palomino is a very interesting horse. They have a golden body and a white mane and tail. Palominos are very good parade horses for their good looks. Over the years different people have tried to make a Palomino breed but it still hasn't worked. If you breed two of them most of the foals are Palominos. They can be fourteen to sixteen hands tall. The hair of a light colored Palomino stays golden during winter. But darker Palominos get darker during winter. A lot of Palominos are registered as quarter horses. Palominos are good pleasure riding horses.
