A person like you who
has never seen the "Nessie" is most likely to ask this
question: "Is the Lochness Monster friendly or not?" Well,
most people fear the Lochness, but the Nessie, weighing
around 500 lb., 80 feet in length, and having a long neck
with a fat body, is supposedly friendly. To most people it's
just a harmless monster swimming under the waters of the
Loch. And it is just a friendly monster, because
there is no evidence that the Lochness monster has ever
badly hurt or killed anyone. The Nessie takes after
the Plesiosaur (below) which lived in the prehistoric age.
Like the Lochness Monster, it had four big flippers for
feet, a long neck , and a large body. Thus, the Lochness
Monster and the Plesiosaur have a lot in common. The only
difference between them is that the Plesiosaur was probably
a little bit bigger than the Nessie in size. Scientists today are
still trying to figure out if the Nessie is friendly, but
more importantly, if the Lochness monster exists. What do
you think? Harmful or friendly, you can E-mail us and give
your idea!
