The Pyramids

Interesting
Facts The Great Pyramid is one of the
"Wonders of the World". It stands 450 ft. high and has a
base of 755 ft. The pyramid was constructed at
almost exactly 30 degrees x 30 degrees latitude and
longitude. The base of the Great Pyramid is
constructed from an estimated 22 acres of limestone casing
that fell away. Many people believe that the
Egyptians didn't build the pyramids, or at least, that they
didn't build them by themselves,
"Any text book or archaeology professor will tell you that the Great Pyramid was constructed by the Pharaohs of Fourth Dynasty. This was approximately the year 2500 B.C. But, there are many people who believe that evidence to the contrary exists, only it has been greatly ignored." But why would evidence be ignored?
"Inside the pyramid there are no writings, markings, nor tombs. But, in the mid-1800's Colonel Howard Vyse made an amazing discovery that the scientific and archaeological communities have held as absolute proof that the Pharaoh Khufu was the builder of the Pyramids. Vyse "discovered" quarryman's markings or "graffiti" inside the King's Chamber of the pyramid."
Many pyramids were built for Khufu, Khafre (his son), and Menkaure, his grandson.
