This part of the Bigfoot section will tell you about some of the Bigfoot sightings.
Albert Ostman, a
Canadian lumberjack, claimed that he was abducted by Bigfoot in 1924.
He was brought to a cave, where three or four other Bigfoot were
staying. When Ostman left the cave, two Bigfoot would follow him.
Ostman escaped a week later unharmed. He did not tell anyone about
his story until 1957, knowing people would think that he was
crazy.
In 1844 in Victoria, British Columbia, a newspaper claimed that they
had caught a Sasquatch. The creature (which was named "Jacko")
resembled a human except that he had long, thick, black fur. He also
possessed great strength. Many people believe that this story was a
hoax or that the animal was just a chimpanzee.
In 1910, two miners were found with their heads cut off in Nahanni
Valley, Canada. There was little evidence to prove that the murderer
was not human. Nahanni Valley was renamed "Headless Valley" because
of this incident.
In 1967, two men named Roger Patterson and Bob Gimlin announced that
they had caught a female Bigfoot on tape. Scientists have looked over
this film many times. One scientist said, "I couldn't see the zipper,
and I still can't."
