Hi! My name is Ian. I am a ten year old boy. I live in Massachusetts. I go to Golden Hill School. I am in the fifth grade. I like to swim, go on America Online, and listen to the radio. I have a mom, dad, two brothers and a sister. I also have a dog named Samantha. She is four years old. My favorite school subject is probably social studies. My favorite sport is swimming. I do competitive swimming on an indoor team in the winter and on an outdoor in the summer. When I grow up, I probably want to be a dentist or veterinarian. I joined ThinkQuest because I like to use and work on computers, and I like to fool around on computers, which we really didn't do in ThinkQuest.

Hi! My name is Renee. I am in fifth grade. I go to Golden Hill School. I am 11 years old, and I have 5 members in my family: My mom, dad, brother, twin sister, and me. I also have a pet dog. My hobbies are using the computer, reading books (especially if they are written by Brian Jacques-they are awesome!), playing outside with my dog, hiking, running, and playing Play Station. I am interested in skunks because I think they are so cute. I love other animals too, so I want to become a naturalist. Learning about nature is interesting and fun for me. My favorite school subjects are spelling and science. I play lacrosse, and I do gymnastics. I think those sports are really fun. I am on the Academic Bowl team at Golden Hill, and I play the clarinet at school too. I wanted to be in ThinkQuest because I like using the computers, I am very interested in unexplained phenomena, and I am very interested in the Bermuda Triangle. That's why we chose this subject because we all were fascinated by unexplained phenomena.

Hi, my name is Lauren. I am in the fifth grade at Golden Hill School. I live with my mom, my dad, my sister, my brother, and my baby sister. I play the flute in the school band, and I am on the Academic Bowl team. I love to read, too. My favorite subject is science, and I have a wonderful science teacher who loves to do hands on. Right now we are studying matter. I ride horses and play the piano. I enjoy playing soccer for fun with my brother and sisters. When I grow up, I want to be an astronomer or an author. The stars fascinate me, and I would love to actually walk on something different than earth's soil. Also, history interests me. Things from before B.C. are fun to analyze and attempt to solve. I like unexplained phenomena and Stonehenge because they both have a fascinating mystery to try and solve.

Hi! My name is Ashley. I am a fifth grader at Golden Hill Elementary School. I live with my Mom, my Dad, my two twin brothers, and my cat. In school I play in the band; my instrument is the flute. I am in the school chorus. Also, I am a member of the Golden Hill Academic Bowl Team. I love to read, write, sing, dance, act, and skate. My favorite subject in school is social studies, and I have a teacher who makes history even more interesting (if that is possible!). In social studies we are studying immigration. In ice-skating we are getting ready for our annual show. When I grow up, I'd like to be a college English Professor, a poet/author, or a singer/actress. History interests me a great deal! Things from the Medieval times are fun to learn about, especially King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. I liked probing into unexplained phenomena because they are earth's strange, but real, wonders. I chose to research Oak Island because it had mysterious floods from "cavities" in the pit! I think mysteries are exciting and fun to solve!
