Goblins... that word alone struck fear into the hearts of even the greatest of men. They are/were greatly feared and were an extremely grotesque form of gnome. They are extremely playful, yet exceedingly evil. Their tricks harm people.

A goblin smile can curdle blood and its laugh can make milk sour and makes fruit shrivel up and fall to the ground. They originated in France and soon spread around Europe. They live in grassy knolls, mossy clefts in the mountains, and sometimes in clefts near ancient trees.

"Hobgoblins" are goblins, exept named different by the druids of Britain.
