Georgia

 

Georgia was originally populated by Cherokee and Creek Native Americans. During this period , the English and the Spanish were debating the Georgia / Florida border, which was brought up in the war in 1739.
Roughly , 30 years later the state took part in the Revolutionary War which was between 1775-1783. On January 2, 1778, Georgia became the 4th state in the Union to ratify the constitution.
Throughout the early 1900's industry began to grow in the state of Georgia. At that time they were relying a lot on cotton but, once the industry began to grow it relied on cotton less. So then corn,fruit,livestock,and tobacco became what they relied on . Now it is devoted to conserving it's natural resources

Description of Coin

The Georgia coin has the outline of the state with the state's major products,which are peaches and oak sprigs. It has the state's motto which is "Wisdom, Justice, and Moderation." Last, but not least it has the date it entered the Union.
