Habitat: Ankylosaurus lived in the western USA and in Sucre, Bolivia South America.
Diet: Ankylosaurus was a herbivore (plant eater).
Size: Ankylosaurus was about 25-35 feet long, 6 feet wide, and 4 feet tall.
Description: Ankylosaurus' entire top side was protected by it's preditors with thick, oval plates embedded in its leathery skin. Ankylosaurus also had a club like tail. Ankylosaurus had four short legs (the front legs were shorter than the rear). Ankylosaurus weighted roughly 5 tons (5400 kg.). Ankylosaurus perished in the Cretaceous-Tertiary extinction, about 65 million years ago.
