Introduction to Our Site

Our site has three main sections: the UniverCITY, the City SIM and the Future SIM.

We created a UniverCITY to teach people about Resource Management, City Planning, City Infrastructure, World Civilizations, and Architecture.

Our UniverCity has different classes and the hallway and classrooms make you feel like you are really there. Our classes have multi-media, like video clips and animations.

When you play a sim in our website you use the knowledge from the UniverCITY.

In our City Sim you will have some problems in your city that you need to solve. Then once you have solved one problem you move to the next. At the end there will be a message board to write to us on what you think about the sim, if you have any questions about City Planning or City Infrastructure or Resource Management and if you have any suggestions.

In our Future Sim you can choose from three places you want to build in: land, underwater and space. When you have picked where to build your city of the future, you will see some icons and a picture or a graphic to put them in. At the end there will be a message board to write to us on what you think about the sim and if you have any suggestions.

One way we use collaboration and interaction is through our message board where you can communicate with others about future cities. You can also interact with the website through our World Civilizations time travel sim by answering questions about cities in the past. Another way that you can interact with others is an Future Visions Gallery were you can view our pictures and post your own. A fourth way we have collaboration is through our e-mail so you can contact us and we can write back to you.
