How I Worked with Filters
by Noah
Filters are effects in Adobe Photoshop that can make things weird, nice, ugly and make a picture more realistic. You can only do this in Adobe Photoshop. Some of my favorite filters are add noise, glass, lens flare and torn edges
Note: Choose a color before everything and fill. Do this for most of the filters.
Add Noise
- If you go to filters then look for Noise
- Click on Add Noise
- A box will pop up and if you move the bar you can change the look
- I recommend this filter should be used as grass
Glass
- If you go to filters then look for Distort
- Click on glass
- A box will pop up--move the bar and then press OK
- I recommend this filter should be used for lava or rocks
Lens Flare
- If you go to filters then look for Render
- Then click the look for lens flare click on it
- A box will pop up--make the brightness whatever you want and the press OK
- I recommend this filter should be used for stars
Torn Edges
- If you go to filters then look for sketch
- Click on Torn Edges
- A box will pop up
- move the bar to the left a little and then press OK
- I recommend that this filter should be used for fire
