Holes is about a boy who is arrested for stealing a famous basketball player's shoes from a homeless shelter. He is sent to Camp Greenlake Juvenile Detention Facility. There he is forced to dig a 5x5x5 hole each and every day. One day he finds an old lipstick case with the initials K.B. on it. After a daring adventure in the mountains he comes back to dig one more hole in hopes for Kissin' Kate Barlow’s wealth.
