End Marks- There is three types of end marks. A period (.) ends a declarative or imperative sentence. A question mark (?) follows a interrogative sentence. An exclamation point (!) follows an exclamatory sentence
Colon- Use a colon after the greeting in a business letter.
Comma- Use a comma to separate two or more adjectives.
A or An? - Use the words a and an before singular nouns. Use a before a word that begins with a consonant sound. Use an before a worse that begins with a vowel sound.
The- Use the with both singular and plural nouns. Use the to point out particular, persons places, or things.
Can or May? - Can means "to be able to do something". May means "to be permitted."
