Someone once said, "East is east and west is west and never the twain shall meet." But Maniac Magee changes that. He runs between the white people on the west side of town and the black people on the east side of town. Awesome Maniac Magee can do anything in his floppy-soled sneakers. He'll make you laugh, cry and sit in awe.
