Mrs. Stapleton
| I am a teacher at Woodland Elementary School where I work with gifted and talented students. I like to ride my bike on long trips, rollerblade on the paved trails, make puppets and perform plays, read, and play music. I play an old fashioned instrument called a hammer dulcimer (a stringed instrument shaped like a trapezoid). I also play the bowed psaltry (a stringed instrument shaped like an isosceles triangle) and the bodhran (an Irish drum). When we study Colonial America, I dress in period costume and play my instruments for the students. Fun!!! |
